(QNO) - The opening ceremony of the ‘Tam Ky- Angsana Bloom Season 2025’ Festival took place in Huong Tra eco-village (Tam Ky, Quang Nam province) on the evening of April 11.
Present at the opening ceremony were leaders of the Tam Ky city and Quang Nam provincial People’s Committees, visitors, and local residents.
In his opening speech, Deputy Chairman of the Tam Ky People’s Committee Nguyen Minh Nam stated that, as part of activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of Tam Ky city's liberation and the reunification of Vietnam, the 'Tam Ky - Angsana Bloom Season 2025' Festival, themed 'Brilliant Yellow Flower Colours,' is being held at the peaceful Huong Tra ecological village in Tam Ky.
This annual cultural and tourism event promotes Tam Ky image locally and internationally while honouring the beauty of the yellow Angsana flower, a symbol of Tam Ky city.
Tam Ky, shaped by its mountains, rivers, and generations of effort, is transformed every April as the yellow Angsana flowers bloom, painting the city in golden hues.
In Huong Tra ecological village, centuries-old Angsana trees bloom, creating a golden ribbon along the Tam Ky river. Tam Ky is known not only for its scenic beauty and welcoming people but also as the 'city of yellow Angsana flowers.
The Angsana flower, with its unique beauty, has become a poetic symbol and the emblem of Tam Ky city, representing the spirit of 'the fatherland blooms'.
Following the opening ceremony was the performance programme to praise Tam Ky and Quang Nam. The audience was particularly impressed by a parachute performance by the Tropical Forest Parachute Team from Da Nang.
