(QNO) - On the evening of June 14, the Tam Ky Sea Festival 2025 officially opened at Tam Thanh Sea Square.
The Tam Ky Sea Festival is regularly organised during the summer tourist season, creating lasting impressions to locals and visitors.
This year's festival had various cultural, artistic, and sports activities, including traditional boat racing, coracle rowing, a marathon, band performances, Bai Choi singing, exhibitions of local products and cuisine, kite performances, and sand sculpture displays.
In his opening speech, Nguyen Minh Nam, Standing Deputy Chairman of the Tam Ky city People's Committee, highlighted many cultural and natural assets beyond its scenic beaches and rivers in Tam Ky, such as Tam Thanh fish sauce, the community art village, coastal fishing villages, the Angsana Bloom Season Festival, Bai Choi and Ba Trao performances. All are contributing to Tam Ky’s unique identity.
The city has invested heavily in infrastructure and cultural events to promote sustainable tourism and establish Tam Ky as a key destination in Quang Nam. The festival has become an annual highlight and a signature tourism brand for the city.
Marking a historic milestone in 2025, Tam Ky will establish four new wards and integrate into Da Nang city. The festival serves as both a celebration and a token of gratitude to locals and visitors.
