DNO - A special exhibition titled "Memories of the Battlefield in Zone V" will be held in Da Nang to mark the 78th anniversary of Viet Nam War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).
The event is jointly organized by the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum in collaboration with the Management Board of Quang Nam Monument and Museum.
The exhibition will be held at two locations simultaneously: the Monument Complex of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers from July 16 to August 10, 2025, and the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum until August 10, 2025. It will feature nearly 140 valuable sketches created by artists who directly participated in the resistance war.
Notably, most of the works are created by martyr - painter Ha Xuan Phong, the late painter Nguyen Duc Hanh, and some famous names who lived and fought in the battlefield of Zone V.
Each stroke vividly captures the daily lives of soldiers, portraying the intense scenes of war while also highlighting the humanity and camaraderie among them. Together, these pieces authentically recreate a heroic period in our nation's history.
