(QNO) – On the afternoon of June 5 in Da Nang city, Michelin Guide Vietnam held an awards ceremony to honor and present the 2025 Michelin awards to dining establishments in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang.
The event was attended by representatives from the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism and the Da Nang People’s Committee.
This year, Michelin Guide announced a total of 181 recognized dining establishments across Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. Among them, 9 restaurants earned one Michelin star (including 1 newly awarded and 1 upgraded), 63 received the Bib Gourmand for excellent food at reasonable prices (9 new entries), and 109 were listed in the Michelin Selected category for culinary quality (14 new entries).
In Da Nang, La Maison 1888 (InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort) retained its Michelin One Star, while Nen Restaurant continued to hold its Michelin Green Star.
Of the 9 newly awarded Bib Gourmand eateries nationwide, 4 are in Da Nang: Banh Xeo 76, Bun Bo Hue Ba Thuong, Que Xua, and Shamballa.
Additionally, three Da Nang eateries made it to the Michelin Selected list: Bep Cuon, Bun Rieu Cua 39, and Moc.
Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the Michelin Guides, shared that this year marks a proud moment as the number of Michelin-starred establishments has increased, with many led by highly talented chefs.
Many of these chefs have returned to their roots, combining modern cooking techniques with traditional values to tell the stories of their homeland and rediscover the flavors of their childhood.
At the same time, street food stalls, family-run eateries, and long-standing establishments continue to preserve culinary traditions with authenticity and passion.
