DNO - On the fourth competition night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026, the Apple Pyrotechnics Co., Ltd from Macau captivated audiences with a highly cinematic performance titled “Celestial Journey to the West”.

Inspired by the Chinese literary classic “Journey to the West”, the Macau team took spectators on a mythical adventure through a combination of symphonic music, electronic soundscapes and water-based fireworks effects - a signature strength that has helped the team earn international recognition.
A series of familiar musical pieces recreated iconic scenes from the beloved tale “Journey to the West”.

Complementing the soundtrack were fan-shaped fireworks, color-changing effects, cascading waterfalls of light and shimmering golden willow bursts reflected on the water’s surface, creating an enchanting atmosphere reminiscent of a celestial realm.
