Translated by ANH THU

DNO - ‘Love in Vietnam’, the first-ever movie collaboration between Vietnam cinema and Bollywood is more than just a romantic story. It’s a cinematic celebration of Vietnamese culture, nature and hospitality, with Da Nang taking center stage.

With 75% of the film’s scenes shot in Vietnam, ‘Love in Vietnam’, the US$ 4 million project, highlights the country’s incredible landscapes and rich traditions.

The project, co-produced by Bollywood’s Captain Rahul Bali and Vietnamese producer Nguyen Cao Tung, premiered at the 77th Cannes Film Festival and is set to release worldwide later this year.

Among the standout filming locations is Taya House, a hidden gem in the Furama Resort Da Nang. Designed like a stilt house from Vietnam’s northern highlands, it sits peacefully amid ancient trees, gentle streams, and misty hills. It is not just a setting, it tells a story. Through every frame, Da Nang’s cultural soul is brought to life on screen.

The film also features Hai Van Lounge, another elegant corner of the resort, for its most romantic scenes, making Da Nang feel like a dream painted in motion.

Rahul Bali, the director and main producer of 'Love in Vietnam', said that Viet Nam is a wonderful country with beautiful nature, friendly people, and rich cuisine. The film production process left a deep emotional impression.

Cinematic tourism is emerging as a powerful tool to connect destinations with global travelers. As Nguyen Duc Quynh, the Vice Chairman of Da Nang Tourism Association, put it: “This film captures the emotional essence of Da Nang, giving the world more than just images, it delivers feelings.”

As India’s outbound tourism grows, this cinematic milestone not only promotes Vietnam as a travel destination but also opens doors for future international film projects in Da Nang, reinforcing its position as a rising star on the global tourism and cultural map.

According to statistics, in just the first six months of this year, 337,500 Indian tourists arrived in Vietnam, up over 40% compared to the same period last year.
