DNO - German cleaning technology company Kärcher on Wednesday inaugurated Phase II of its Kärcher Vietnam Technology manufacturing plant in Da Nang.

This marked a major expansion of its production operations in Central Vietnam as the company strengthens its regional manufacturing footprint.
The new facility is located in the Tam Hiep Industrial and Logistics Park in Nui Thanh Commune, within the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone.
The project represents an investment of approximately VND484 billion (about US$18.5 million) and was developed by An An Hoa Group. Construction began in July 2025, with commercial operations commencing in July 2026.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior leaders of Da Nang, including Standing Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh; Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee cum Chairman of the municipal People's Council Nguyen Duc Dung, along with representatives from local government agencies.

Kärcher Vietnam Technology manufactures high-pressure washers, handheld cleaning equipment and other cleaning solutions for domestic and international markets.
Following the completion of the project's first two phases, the company now occupies more than 6.2 hectares and employs around 300 workers.
The company has invested in modern production lines and advanced manufacturing equipment to increase localization and improve operational efficiency.
Once fully operational, the expanded factory is expected to triple its production capacity compared with current output.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Phan Thai Binh said Kärcher's continued expansion at the Tam Hiep Industrial and Logistics Park in the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone reflects the area's growing appeal to foreign manufacturers and highlights its competitive advantages as an emerging industrial and investment hub.
As a subsidiary of one of Germany's leading industrial groups, Kärcher Vietnam Technology serves as an important bridge between Da Nang and the German business community, Binh said.
He expressed hope that the company would continue promoting the city's investment climate and development potential to German companies, business associations and investors across the European Union at large, helping attract new investment into priority sectors targeted by the city.

Da Nang considers industry a key driver of its ambition to achieve sustained double-digit economic growth while improving labor productivity and overall competitiveness.
To support that goal, the city is investing in integrated infrastructure and prioritizing investment in high-tech manufacturing, processing and supporting industries.
He reaffirmed the local government's commitment to supporting businesses and investors by creating favourable conditions for production and long-term operations, with the aim of strengthening industrial and logistics development in the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone and Central Vietnam as a whole.
As part of the inauguration, An An Hoa Group donated VND300 million (about US$11,500) to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nui Thanh Commune to support the construction of five solidarity houses for disadvantaged families.
Phase I of the Kärcher Vietnam Technology project entered operation in July 2024, providing the manufacturing base for the German group's expansion strategy in Vietnam.
The completion of Phase II marks another milestone in the company's long-term investment plan while reinforcing Vietnam's growing role in Kärcher's global production network.
