International Yoga Festival held in Quang Nam

(QNO) – The 2nd International Yoga Festival 2025 officially kicked off on June 21, at Tam Thanh Beach Square (Tam Ky, Quang Nam province). The event was attended by the President of the Vietnam Yoga Federation, along with representatives from the Indian Embassy in Vietnam.

Commemorative flags were presented to the participating delegations.

The 2nd International Yoga Festival was co-organized by Quang Nam province, the Indian Embassy in Vietnam, and the Vietnam Yoga Federation. Quang Nam also hosted the 4th Youth Yoga Championship and the 6th National Children’s Yoga Competition at the provincial sports arena.

The delegates lit the ceremonial torch at the opening ceremony.

The event is part of the celebration of the 11th International Day of Yoga 2025, themed “Yoga for One Earth - One Health.”

More than 500 yogis performed a synchronized yoga demonstration to celebrate the opening ceremony.

Through this event, Quang Nam hopes to further strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation with the Indian Embassy in Vietnam in particular, and Indian partners in general, especially in the field of cultural exchange.

The province also aims to enhance public understanding of India’s rich cultural heritage and promote the health benefits of practicing and competing in yoga.
