(QNO) - University of Education - The University of Danang (UOE-UD) has recently signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) for a 3+1+2 training program with Guizhou Minzu University (China) and other partners to promote international cooperation in education and student exchange.
Under the MOA, Vietnamese Language students from Guizhou Minzu University will spend three years at their home institution and one year at UOE-UD.
After completing the 3+1 program, graduates can pursue a two-year master's degree at UOE-UD in Vietnamese Literature, Linguistics, History, or Vietnamese Studies.
Earlier, UOE-UD conducted two 3+1 transfer programs with Guizhou Minzu University, sending lecturers to teach Vietnamese there for two years and awarding PhD scholarships to two of its researchers.
Also, UOE-UD has recently concluded a student exchange program with Udon Thani Rajabhat University (Thailand).
According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Vice Rector of University of Education, the annual international education collaboration is highly meaningful. It fosters cultural exchange, regional ties, and global integration.
Students from Udon Thani Rajabhat University praised the program for its enriching experiences and warm hospitality.
Beyond academics, they engaged in Lunar New Year traditions, including making Chung cake (the Vietnamese traditional food made with pork, mung bean, sticky rice, wrapped in green leaves and then boiled), festive offerings, calligraphy, and exploring Danang city, a top Asian event destination.
