The 2025 National Athletics Championship attracted nearly 500 athletes from 32 registered units nationwide, competing for 50 sets of medals including 24 events for men, 24 events for women, and 2 mixed relay events for men and women.

Additionally, athletes with outstanding achievements were reviewed by the coaching staff of the Vietnamese athletics team for selection to participate in the 33rd SEA Games later this year in Thailand.
