Impressions from exhibition honouring beauty and soul of Vietnamese women

DNO - From October 10 to 24, the Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts is hosting “Colours of Womanhood,” a group exhibition featuring 10 female artists from Da Nang.

The showcase celebrates the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Union (October 20) and offers a heartfelt tribute to women’s beauty, resilience, and creativity.

The exhibition presents 35 artworks across diverse mediums - oil, acrylic, pastel, and more - created by Tran Thi Cuc, Tran Hong Lam, Dinh Huong, Le Thi Cam Van, Nguyen Thi Dao, Huong Nguyen, Lien Nguyen, Trang Nguyen, Van Tuong Vy and Nguyet Le.

Each piece reflects a distinct emotional landscape, revealing the artists’ inner worlds and perspectives on modern womanhood.

Through color, texture, and form, the works capture the many shades of femininity - tender yet powerful, introspective yet bold.

More than an art event, “Colours of Womanhood” is a celebration of female expression in contemporary Vietnamese art, inviting visitors to explore the depth, diversity, and quiet strength that define women’s presence in both art and life.
