DNO - The Hy Vong (Hope) School inaugurated its new campus in the FPT Da Nang Technology Urban Area on Friday.
Covering a total area of over 6,500m2, the new campus of the Hope School consists of two 5-storey buildings. One building is used for classrooms and multi-functional teaching, and the other for pupils' boarding rooms with full amenities.
The school also includes a library, multi-purpose halls, and functional rooms (robotics, music, bakery...), helping pupils to study and practice, and develop their own abilities.
The Hy Vong (Hope) School was founded by FPT Corporation and Hy Vong Foundation in 2021 with the desire that no child is left behind.
To date, the school has received more than 300 children from 29 provinces, cities and 13 ethnic groups across the country who lost their parents to COVID-19.
In his remarks at the opening ceremony of the new campus of the school, Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang expressed his appreciation for the sense of responsibility for the community and for the future of Viet Nam's young generation of the FPT Corporation in general and its Chairman and Co-founder Truong Gia Binh in particular.
He also thanked school teachers for their great dedication to caring for and educating the children, thereby helping them overcome pain and difficulties to excel in their studies.
“The city is committed to accompanying FPT so that the Hope School can truly become a happy school for the children" said Mr. Quang.
