The performance highlights the beauty of flowing silk garments, reinforcing the elegance of traditional Vietnamese dress.

Since the 1990s, when Hoi An began developing its tourism industry, silk has emerged as a pioneering product closely associated with tailoring. A wave of custom-made shops soon followed, and silk garments traveled with visitors around the world, turning silk into a distinctive souvenir that uniquely defines Hoi An.

At "The colours of Hoi An Silk", the viewers can sense the evolution of fashion across different stages of social development, especially the enduring elegance of Vietnam’s silk ao dai, past and present—together forming a seamless tapestry that bridges the heritage and modern life of silk.
