DNO - The global travel platform TripAdvisor has announced its Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best Destinations 2026 rankings (top destinations selected by travellers). Hoi An (Da Nang City) ranked 7th on the list.
The Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best Destinations awards are regarded as one of the most prestigious and influential travel rankings worldwide.
Unlike categories based on expert assessments or promotional campaigns, this award is compiled directly from reviews and authentic experiences shared by the global travel community.
According to TripAdvisor, the award is designed to honour destinations that consistently maintain outstanding service quality and visitor experiences.
With an extremely selective annual recognition rate for the “Best of the Best” title, being included among the top destinations is clear evidence of a location’s strong position and exceptional appeal.
In the list of the Top 10 Outstanding Destinations in 2026, Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital, secured an impressive second place. The remaining destinations completing the Top 10 are Bali (Indonesia), Bangkok (Thailand), Siem Reap (Cambodia), Tokyo (Japan), Kathmandu (Nepal), Maldives, New Delhi (India), and Seoul (South Korea).
Hoi An’s presence in the ranking further affirms the enduring global attractiveness of Vietnam’s heritage destinations and strengthens the country’s position on the international tourism map.
