(QNO) - On the occasion of the 56th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Tourism sector, a ceremony in honor of Vietnam's leading travel enterprises in 2016 was organized in Ha Noi on July 9 by Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) and Vietnam Tourism Association. The event also aimed to encourage tourism firms to improve their service quality and competitiveness and diversify products towards expanding their businesses.

Hoi An Hotel (Hoi An city) was the only one in Quang Nam province to be honoured as one of the four leading 4-star hotels in Vietnam in 2016.

In Hoi An hotel, there are 205 people working in the services of accommodation, restaurant, entertainment, fine-art craft products, foreign currency exchange, massage, spa… In 2015, its turnover reached 69.5 billion VND (about 3.5 million USD); average salary per worker reached nearly 5.4 million VND.
This award began in 1999.
