The event, jointly organised by HELIOS and artisans from Kim Bong Carpentry Village in Hoi An Ward, marked the first time HELIOS has introduced this creative combination of traditional materials in Da Nang, following earlier launches in the capital city of Ha Noi and the southern metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City.

The collection features HELIOS silver pendants developed in collaboration with People's Artisan Huynh Suong, with a design created specifically for the Da Nang market.

Huynh Suong and his team handcrafted the wooden frames, incorporating distinctive elements inspired by Hoi An, and Da Nang as a whole.

The wooden components are designed to complement the silver pendants, bringing together two different craft traditions in a contemporary product.

According to HELIOS, the project represents a meeting between two worlds of craftsmanship: silversmithing and woodworking.

Although the materials and techniques are different, both share a common foundation - the value of each product lies greatly in the skill, precision and hands of the artisan.

The collaboration also highlights how traditional craft can be reinterpreted through creative partnerships, giving familiar materials new forms and creating products that connect local cultural heritage with contemporary design.
