DNO - The 2026 German Beer Festival officially opened in Da Nang on October 22 evening.
This year’s festival is organized by the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam - Germany Friendship Association in the city, and the Thuan Nhi One-Member Limited Liability Company.
Attending the opening ceremony was Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Council Doan Ngoc Hung Anh.
As part of the city’s series of external affairs activities, the festival aims to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Germany diplomatic relations (September 23, 1975 - September 23, 2026) and the 15th anniversary of the Strategic Partnership between the two countries (October 11, 2011 - October 11, 2026).
Following successful editions in 2019, 2023, 2024 and 2025, this year’s festival marks the fifth time the German Beer Festival has been held in Da Nang, with its largest scale to date.
Running from October 22 to 24 at 83-85-87 Tran Phu Street, the festival features a wide range of cultural and artistic activities, along with performances by renowned Vietnamese and international artists.
At the festival, delegates and visitors can experience Germany’s distinctive food and beer culture as well as immerse themselves in a lively atmosphere of friendship, warmth, connection and sharing.
The event is expected to stimulate tourism demand and promote Da Nang as a city of events and festivals, as well as a safe, attractive and welcoming destination.
