(QNO) - On the afternoon of May 22, the Art Exhibition of Gwangyang Artists in Hoi An opened at 106 Bach Dang Street (Minh An ward, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province).
The exhibition is jointly organized by the Gwangyang City Cultural Center and the Center for Culture, Sports, and Radio - Television of Hoi An city.
It presents to the public 20 artworks by 10 talented female artists from Gwangyang, featuring themes of nature, culture, and the people of Korea.
This exhibition is part of the “Art Vacation” project, a collaborative effort between the two cities that provides an opportunity for Korean artists to showcase their works in Hoi An, while also engaging in sightseeing, creative exploration, and cultural exchange with local artists.
The exhibition also serves as an opportunity to highlight Hoi An as a land of cultural exchange and integration - a “Creative House” where artists from around the world come to seek inspiration and ignite their creativity. It contributes to strengthening mutual understanding and cultural exchange between Vietnam and South Korea.
The exhibition runs until May 27. Artworks created by the artists during their time in Hoi An will also be showcased in South Korea.
