DNO - Team Macedos Pirotecnia from Portugal brought to the final night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 an emotional performance titled “United Horizons: The Symphony of Convergence”.
Following their successful qualifying-round performance under the theme “Beyond the Horizon”, the Portuguese team once again showcased its signature storytelling through the language of fireworks, an approach that helped them earn the Most Creative Award at DIFF 2025.
The team’s display at the grand finale was designed as a journey of discovery through Da Nang where the beauty of nature, cultural identity, and the spirit of innovation converge.
Accompanied by vibrant music, the performance unfolded through a series of carefully choreographed fireworks effects, blending light, color, and rhythm into a seamless spectacle.
The performance aimed to convey the image of a dynamic Da Nang which has been expanding its global connections and integration with the international community.
Mr. Fernando Manuel Machado Da Silva Macedo from the Macedos Pirotecnia team shared that fireworks were not only a form of performance art but also a bridge of emotions. Each fireworks display created a moment for people to pause, admire, and share common values.
“Through music and visual effects, we hope to connect the audience in Da Nang as well as millions of viewers following the event on digital platforms” he emphasized.
The Portuguese team hopes the performance will become a symbol of cultural exchange, demonstrating how diversity can coexist and flourish in harmony.
During the qualifying round, Team Macedos Pirotecnia captivated audiences with a memorable sequence recreating the image of Vietnam’s iconic bamboo groves, set to the patriotic song “Dong Mau Lac Hong” (The Bloodline of Lac Hong).
