DNO - Within the framework of the 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), the Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF) delegation has implemented a number of international promotion, connection and cooperation activities.

At the Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM), DANAFF IV, scheduled to take place from June 28 - July 4, 2026, was officially introduced with the announcement of opening registration for its two international competition categories and the Project Incubator under DANAFF Talents program.
Within the framework of BIFF, the workshop "The Beat of Vietnamese Cinema - Introducing Promising Projects" and the “Vietnam Night” event, organized by the Vietnam Film Development Association (VFDA) in collaboration with the BHD Co., Ltd., was held in a space imbued with Vietnamese identity featuring DANAFF IV’s new visual identity.
At the event, Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan, Director of the Da Nang Asian Film Festival, respectfully invited international friends to attend DANAFF IV.
The workshop also introduced two new Vietnamese film projects: “Ho Linh Trang Si - Bi An Mo Vua Dinh” (The Sacred Guards: The Secret of King Dinh’s Tomb) and “Sai Gon Oppa” (a Vietnamese - South Korean co-production), reflecting new steps in cooperation and filmmaking.
Notably, the DANAFF delegation had a working session with the Korean Film Council (KOFIC), reaching an agreement on KOFIC's support in inviting international experts to teach at the DANAFF Talents Workshops and Project Incubator.
Meanwhile, VFDA also signed a Letter of Intent with KEY Association to launch a 2025 - 2026 cooperation program in five areas: film production and promotion, cultural and educational exchange, event organization, industry research and global network building.
The success of young talents nurtured by DANAFF Talents continued to be recognized when the project “Flying Cows”, which won the award the "Best Genre Film Project Award at DANAFF III, claimed the Kantana Award at the Asian Project Market at BIFF 2025. The project was directed Nguyen Pham Thanh Dat and produced Nguyen Huu Thi Tuong Vi.
