DNO - The Dai Binh Culture and Tourism Festival 2026, themed "Dai Binh - A Green Destination," was officially opened on the evening of August 21 in Nong Son Commune (Da Nang City). The festival is designed to promote the culture, landscapes, products, and tourism potential of this locality.

A highlight of the festival is to provide visitors opportunities to enjoy Dai Binh's rural village atmosphere and its fruit orchards.

Surrounded by the Thu Bon River, Dai Binh is known as Central Vietnam’s “garden village” with lush orchards.

Over 80% of households in Dai Binh cultivate various fruits, such as durian, pomelo, mangosteen, jackfruit, guava, and bon bon (langsat). In particular, the growers use organic farming methods, minimizing pesticides and chemicals for their plants and fruits. Therefore, the fruits are good in quality and safety for consumers.

Coming to the festival, visitors have chances to tour the village, visit the fruit orchards, pick up and taste the fruit right on the spot, and explore attractions such as Rừng Cấm (Forbidden Forest), Bàu Sen (Lotus Pond), and other local sites.

Next to Dai Binh, Nong Son boasts the Tay Vien hot springs, the Ba Thu Bon Festival, a national intangible cultural heritage; agarwood crafts; and various local specialties.

Through this festival, Dai Binh aims to promote its cultural and ecological values as well as local products. The initiative seeks to gradually develop community-based tourism linked to cultural preservation, create additional livelihoods for residents, and showcase the image of Nong Son to the public.
