DNO- On the morning of February 6, a high-level delegation from Salavan Province (Laos), led by Party Secretary Daovong Phonekeo, visited Da Nang to extend Lunar New Year greetings.

The Salavan delegation was received by Le Ngoc Quang, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee and other leaders of the city.
At the reception, Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang expressed his appreciation for the Lao delegation's Lunar New Year visit and stated that the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Da Nang and Salavan have continued to develop in a deeper and more substantive manner.
He also said that in the coming period, Da Nang will effectively implement signed cooperation agreements, maintain delegation exchanges at all levels, particularly high-level visits, and ensure the full execution of joint projects and programmes.
The city will also strengthen collaboration in investment, trade, tourism, and transport, and actively participate in mutual investment and trade promotion activities.
These efforts aim to further consolidate and enhance the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, as well as between Da Nang City and Salavan Province, in a sustainable and long-term direction.

He congratulated Da Nang on its remarkable achievements in socio-economic development, Party building, and political system consolidation in 2025, as well as its development orientations for 2026.
Daovong Phonekeo affirmed that Salavan Province always attaches great importance to and wishes to further strengthen and deepen its comprehensive cooperative relationship with Da Nang in the coming period.
