DNO - Da Nang’s tourism sector served over 1.46 million visitors during the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day and the April 30 - May 1 holidays from April 25 to May 3, up 35% year-on-year.
Of this figure, international arrivals were estimated at over 621,000, a 24% year-on-year.
The total number of overnight stays stood at an estimate of over 724,000, a rise of 31% against the same period last year.
The local tourism sector earned over VND 5.727 trillion in revenue, a 35% year-on-year increase.
The average occupancy rate at local accommodation establishments ranged between 75% and 80%, whilst four- to five-star hotels and equivalent establishments recorded rates of 90% to 95%.
In terms of air transport, during the nine-day peak period (from April 25 to May 3), the total number of domestic and international flights to Da Nang was estimated at 1,460, up 11% compared to the same period in 2025, with an average frequency of around 162 flights per day.
The city’s tourism sector made thorough preparations, from ensuring service quality at destinations to organizing training for accommodation facilities and service providers to meet required standards, thereby providing high-quality experiences for visitors.
