DNO - The Da Nang administration just approved an ambitious master plan for a 339-hectare eco-tourism zone along National Highway 14G, aiming to transform the city’s western mountain area into a sustainable tourism hub.
Located in Phu Tuc Hamlet, Hoa Vang Commune, the site is surrounded by rolling hills to the north and south, and directly borders the scenic Highway 14G to the east and west. The plan envisions a vibrant community of around 1,000 residents, blending high-quality eco-resorts with preserved natural landscapes.
The development will link a chain of existing attractions along Highway 14G, including Nui Than Tai Hot Springs Park, Hoa Phu Thanh Tourist Area, Lai Thieu Ecotourism Site, and Suoi Hoa. Visitors can look forward to adventure tourism, nature exploration, and premium leisure experiences.
Key functional zones include: luxury resort and service areas at Nui Than Tai, with expansion to the northeast of Highway 14G; community-based eco-tourism zones offering outdoor activities and cultural experiences at Hoa Phu Thanh, Lai Thieu, Suoi Hoa, and Doc Kien, alongside new development areas to the south and northwest. A public service complex featuring exhibitions, OCOP product showcases, and a local agricultural marketplace.
Designed with a strong commitment to environmental stewardship, the 339ha eco-tourism zone is poised to become a flagship destination, offering travelers the chance to immerse themselves in Da Nang’s rich natural beauty while supporting the livelihoods of local communities.
