Da Nang to launch 2 bus routes to Cua Dai and Tam Ky Bridge from July 18

DNO - Da Nang will officially launch bus routes Nos. 02 and 21 connecting the city’s Central Bus Station with destinations in Cua Dai and Tam Ky Bridge and vice versa starting from July 18.

Specifically, the bus route No. 02 is 46.7km long. It will depart from the city’s Central Bus Station and travel through Nam Tran, Ly Thai Tong, Nguyen Tat Thanh, February 3, Tran Phu (Da Nang Administrative Center), Nguyen Van Linh, September 2, Tien Son Bridge, Le Van Hien, Tran Dai Nghia, DT 607 and into the former Hoi An City area via Nguyen Tat Thanh, Hoi An Bus Station, Ly Thuong Kiet, Tran Nhan Tong, Cua Dai, Au Co. It will then terminate at the Cua Dai inland waterway wharf parking lot. The return trip will follow the same route in reverse.

Meanwhile, the 77.2km long route No. 21 will be the city’s Central Bus Station - Ton Duc Thang - Hue T-junction - Dien Bien Phu - Nguyen Duc Trung - Tran Cao Van - Dong Da - Ly Tu Trong - Tran Phu (Da Nang Administrative Center) - Nguyen Van Linh - September 2 - Cach Mang Thang Tam - Ong Ich Duong - Cam Le Bridge - Pham Hung - National Highway 1 - old Huong An Bridge - Tam Ky Bus Station - Phan Boi Chau - Phan Chau Trinh - Tam Ky Bridge. The return journey will also follow the same route in reverse.

Notably, the municipal Department of Construction has adjusted sections of the routes to travel through the city center. Large-sized B55 buses have been added to meet the growing demands of passengers during peak hours.

Service frequency during peak hours will be boosted 5 minutes/trip for the route to Tam Ky, and 20 minutes/trip for the route to Cua Dai. Bus stops will be arranged near the Park & Ride parking area, enabling passengers to park their personal vehicles and switch to public bus service.

Depending on the route distance, the ticket price per trip will range from VND 8,000 to VND 48,000 for regular passengers, and from VND 6,000 to VND 36,000 for government officials, civil servants and public employees. Students and pupils will pay VND 8,000 per ticket.

For monthly tickets, route 02 sells tickets for VND 700,000/month for regular passengers, and VND 490,000/month for government officials, civil servants, and public employees. Monthly tickets for route No.21 cost VND 850,000 and VND 600,000, respectively.

Students, senior citizens aged 60 and over, people receiving policies for war invalids, sick soldiers with less than 81% disability, and people with disabilities (severe or mild) can buy monthly tickets for routes Nos. 02 and 21 at VND 300,000 and VND 400,000 respectively.
