Da Nang to host variety of cultural and artistic activities to welcome Tet 2026

According to the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, on February 16, the art program "Lunar New Year's Eve 2026", performed by the Trung Vuong Theater, will take place at the east bank park of the Dragon Bridge along Tran Hung Dao Street, An Hai Ward.

Meanwhile, the art program “Soul of Spring”, staged by the Da Nang Traditional Arts Theater, will be held also on February 16 at the March 24 Square in Ban Thach Ward.

The city’s Cultural and Cinema Center will organize ‘bai choi’ folk singing performances at the folk art performance space on the southern side of the Dragon Bridge’s east bank on Tran Hung Dao Street, An Hai Ward from February 16 - 19.

A Lunar New Year celebration program will also be held at 8 Tran Hung Dao Street, Ban Thach Ward on February 22.

The Street Music program 2026 will take place at the Bach Dang Walking Street (the semi-circular area opposite Binh Minh 6) or the sidewalk of Nhu Nguyet Street (opposite Do Xuan Cat Street) in Hai Chau Ward on February 28.

Tet films will be screened at the Le Do Cinema starting from February 18.

From February 4 - 17, the city’s Ornamental Creatures Association is hosting the fourth Open Exhibition of Yellow Apricot Blossoms and Ornamental Plants in front of the Tien Son Sports Arena on Phan Dang Luu Street, Hoa Cuong Ward.

Between February 6 and 26, the Da Nang Traditional Arts Theater organizes a traditional Tet cultural space at 155 Phan Chau Trinh Street, Hai Chau Ward.

From February 10 - 23, the Da Nang General Science Library hosts the 2026 Spring Press Fair exhibition at its premises, 46 Bach Dang Street, Hai Chau Ward.

On February 17, the municipal Tourism Promotion Center will hold a ceremony to welcome the first air passengers of the Lunar New Year 2026 at Da Nang International Airport and Chu Lai Airport.

Daily performances across the city will include the Ao Dai Show by VKSTAR JSC at Ngu Hanh Son Cultural House, 1A Tran Van Dan Street, Ngu Hanh Son Ward, and the Charming Show by Sao Hoang Nguyen Co., Ltd. at the Labor Cultural House on Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, Cam Le Ward.

Audiences can also enjoy “The Heritage Journey” by Viet Heritage JSC at the An Hai Ward Cultural House at 2 Vu Van Dung Street; the “Hoi An Memories” by Gami Hoi An JSC at the Hoi An Impression Park; and the “Teh Dar” show at the Lune Hoi An Performing Arts Center at 1A Nguyen Phuc Chu Street, Hoi An Ward.

In addition, at the Bach Dang Walking Street, the Trung Vuong Theater will host the monthly art program “Music and Life - Sing with Me” while the municipal Women’s Union will organize the “Weekend Rendezvous” program during the last weeks of January and February 2026.
