DNO - The merger of Quang Nam and Da Nang is the good opportunity for tourism businesses to maximize inter-regional advantages for the development of new tourism products.
Currently, the FVG Travel Group JSC is investing in riverside and waterway tourism at the Nam Hoi An City Tourism Urban Area.
The Nam Hoi An Marina, integrated into a model urban tourism ecosystem, has been put into operation. It has been offering a river experience route connecting Hoi An Ancient Town to Bay Mau nipa palm forest, Vinpearl Nam Hoi An, and other riverside service and entertainment clusters.
In addition, the company is making the most of the inter-regional advantages after the merger to develop a "Three Destinations - One Journey" tour. The tour links Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Sanctuary and Dong Giang Heaven Gate Eco-tourism Area, with combo packages of either 3 days and 2 nights or 2 days and 1 night.
Also, the Fivimec international medical complex is introducing a combined healthcare and medical tourism service.
Meanwhile, a number of tourism activities before, during and after the merger have been developed at the upstream of Cu De River in Hoa Bac Commune, formerly in Hoa Vang District, now Hai Van Ward. Included are the establishment of the Hoa Bac and Ta Lang - Gian Bi Eco-Agriculture and Community-based Tourism Cooperatives.
Since its establishment in March 2025, the Hoa Chau Eco-Agriculture and Community-based Tourism Cooperative has developed sustainable tourism products at the Phong Nam Cultural Tourism Village in Hoa Xuan Ward.
According to Director of Communications and Marketing of the Nui Than Tai Hot Springs Park Le Thi Bich Huong, the merger of Da Nang and Quang Nam opens up many opportunities for the city to develop sustainable tourism, and for tourism businesses to boost infrastructure development and launch many new tourism products in the time to come.
