Da Nang's total import-export turnover rises over 10%

DNO - The Da Nang's total import-export turnover in the first nine months of this year was estimated at US$7.4 billion, a 10.7% increase compared to the same period last year.

In particular, the export turnover reached US$3.8 billion (up 12%), while the import turnover stood at US$3.6 billion (up 9.3%). The city’s trade balance contributed to its nine-month trade surplus of US$245.8 million.

In September 2026 alone, the total import-export turnover was estimated at US$801 million, up 10.8% year-on-year. Of this, the export accounted for US$408.7 million, while the import accounted for US$392.4 million.

Compared to the same period last year, both trade flows increased, with the export growth rate continuing to outpace that of the import.

For the third quarter of 2026, the total import-export turnover was estimated at over US$2.5 billion, a 6.4% increase compared to the same quarter last year. The export reached US$1.4 billion, while the import totaled nearly US$1.2 billion.

Overall, the city’s total import-export turnover for the first nine months of 2026 continued to rise year-on-year, with the export growing faster than imports, helping to maintain a trade surplus that was mainly driven by the results in the third quarter.
