The city has approved four housing projects and commenced construction on two developments totaling around 1,300 units, contributing to housing supply and social welfare.
Progress is also being made in education infrastructure, including the construction of six schools in border areas.
For the time being, Da Nang is focusing on sustaining high growth by improving the investment climate, removing obstacles for businesses, and accelerating strategic projects.
Priority sectors are being reoriented toward higher value-added activities, including semiconductors, supporting industries, and green construction materials.
Besides, Da Nang is also pushing forward ambitious initiatives such as the establishment of an international financial center and a free trade zone, aimed at positioning Da Nang as a regional economic hub.
Administrative reform and digital transformation remain key breakthroughs, with efforts underway to streamline procedures and pilot regulatory “sandbox” models to support innovation and startups.
With strong first-quarter performance and a clear development strategy, Da Nang appears well-positioned to maintain its growth trajectory and build a more resilient, modern and sustainable economy in the coming time.
