DNO - Da Nang is selectively attracting industrial investment to develop in a green, sustainable, and environmentally friendly direction.
In recent times, Da Nang has been focusing on promoting key investments in line with the principles of sustainable development.
The city has already attracted large projects such as the US$ 39.3 million SGI magnetic magnet project (South Korea); the US$ 35 million Uc Thinh super white flower glass factory (China), and the US$ 40 million audio equipment factory of Quoc Quang Group (China).
In addition, at the Tam Thang Industrial Park, South Korea-based Hyosung Group has adjusted the capital of the curtain fabric factory project from US$ 210 million to US$ 410 million. This is a large project cluster of Hyosung Group, promising to expand the investment scale to US$ 1,340 million.
Recently, the Indusvalley Chu Lai JSC, a subsidiary of the An An Hoa Group, has held a groundbreaking ceremony for the second stage of the Indusvalley Chu Lai factory project for rent. The project also includes the Karcher Vietnam Technology cleaning equipment manufacturing factory at the second phase.
In the coming time, the city will mobilize resources to develop high-tech, processing, manufacturing, and supporting industries under a green and sustainable model.
Also, attention will be paid to manufacturing mechanical, electrical, and electronic products in the direction of circular economy whilst accelerating the implementation of ecological industrial parks, industrial clusters, and research for the Halal industry.
The city will lay emphasis on effectively linking the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone with Dung Quat Economic Zone to establish a key coastal industrial center in the region.
Moreover, efforts will be made to develop Da Nang into a national center for supporting automobile and multi-purpose mechanical industries, as well as a hub for deep processing of silica products in Central Viet Nam.
