DNO - Surpassing a series of major and highly competitive tournaments nationwide, the PPA Tour Asia - MB Vietnam Cup 2025 held in Da Nang has been honored as “Tournament of the Year” at the Vietnam Pickleball Awards.

The Vietnam Pickleball Awards ceremony took place on Monday evening in Ho Chi Minh City. Following a voting period, the PPA Tour Asia - MB Vietnam Cup 2025 received the highest scores from both the public and the expert panel, earning the top title.
The award recognizes the efforts of organizers and spectators who contributed to a successful season that left a lasting impression.
The PPA Tour Asia - MB Vietnam Cup 2025 marked the largest pickleball tournament in Asia, with Da Nang hosting the event for the first time. It was jointly organized by the Da Nang Pickleball Federation, FPT Play, and America & Asia Linkages Company Limited (AAC).
Held from September 30 - October 4, 2025, the tournament turned the Tien Son Sports Arena into a focal point on the global pickleball map.
For the first time in Vietnam, audiences had the chance to watch top international stars such as Ben Johns, Tyson McGuffin, Dekel Bar, Zane Navratil, alongside Vietnamese talents like Phuc Huynh and Alix Truong. The event brought together 600 athletes from nearly 20 countries and territories, competing on international-standard courts.
A historic moment was set during the final day, when 7,906 spectators filled the stands, helping the tournament establish a Guinness World Record for the largest attendance at a pickleball event.

According to the Da Nang Pickleball Federation, being named “Tournament of the Year” at the Vietnam Pickleball Awards is a great honor for the organizers and a strong motivation to continue bringing large-scale pickleball tournaments to the city.
Da Nang has also been selected as the host venue for the World Cup Pickleball 2026. Scheduled from August 30 - September 6, the event promises thrilling matches and emotional highlights, featuring top players from around the world.
The Vietnam Pickleball Awards 2025, organized by PWC Pickleball in coordination with Vinama JSC, aims to honor individuals, teams, and organizations with outstanding contributions to the development of pickleball in Vietnam.
The awards go beyond competitive achievements, recognizing the entire pickleball ecosystem from athletes, clubs, and tournament organizers to grassroots activities and influential figures who have helped promote the sport nationwide.
This marks the first nationwide awards dedicated exclusively to Vietnam’s pickleball community.
