DNO - Da Nang City has once again been recognised by international media, ranking among Asia’s most attractive summer destinations, particularly for June, according to Lonely Planet.
On the list released by Lonely Planet, Da Nang ranks second and is described as a "paradise for outdoor enthusiasts" where visitors can enjoy pristine beaches such as My Khe and Non Nuoc or explore the diverse natural landscapes of Central Vietnam.
June is considered an ideal time to experience the coastal city, thanks to sunny weather and low rainfall, which create favourable conditions for beach tourism, resort stays, and outdoor exploration.
Beyond its long stretches of white sandy coastline, Da Nang offers a diverse tourism ecosystem, from the Son Tra Peninsula to high-end resorts and modern entertainment complexes.
Its central location also positions Da Nang as a gateway to renowned heritage destinations such as Hoi An Ancient Town and Hue, allowing visitors to easily extend their itineraries within a short travel time.
The combination of natural beauty, cultural richness, and well-developed tourism infrastructure has helped Da Nang consistently appear in international rankings. The city continues to attract visitors not only for its scenery but also for its dynamic lifestyle, diverse cuisine, and increasingly professional tourism services.
Other destinations highlighted by Lonely Planet for June travel in Asia include Busan (South Korea), Singapore, Shimla (India), Bali (Indonesia), and Almaty (Kazakhstan).
Being named among Asia’s top destinations for June further reinforces Da Nang’s growing appeal on the global tourism map and opens up opportunities to attract more international visitors during the 2026 summer.
