DNO - With its motto "Putting people at the center, businesses as the driving force, and technology as the tool", Da Nang has gained numerous remarkable achievements in its journey of building a smart city.
Specifically, the city has put into operation the Intelligent Operation Centre (IOC) equipped with a citywide surveillance camera system and integrated data from key areas such as traffic, security and order, health, education, and environment.
The city has been named among the country’s leading localities in e-government with over 1,600 level-4 online public services offered through its Public Service Portal.
Da Nang is also the first locality in the country to synchronously deploy open data and a platform for sharing interconnected data between departments, branches, and grassroots units, thereby contributing to improving operational efficiency and better serving residents.
For many consecutive years, the city has been recognized by domestic and international organizations as one of Viet Nam’s most livable cities thanks to its harmonious combination of infrastructure development, environmental protection and quality of life improvement.
Da Nang targets to become an ecological, modern, smart and livable city, as well as a major socio-economic hub, in the country and Southeast Asia in the future.
In particular, the smart city model is not only the application of technology but also a comprehensive digital transformation process placing people at the center of all policies and services.
