The city has been identified by the Vietnamese Government as a core growth engine of the central key economic region, focusing on innovation, startups, tourism, trade, finance, logistics, high-tech industries, and information technology.

Currently, Da Nang is accelerating the completion of Software Park No. 2 and plans to establish a Da Nang Free Trade Zone linked with Lien Chieu Port, alongside the development of Vietnam’s International Financial Center in the city. All are expected to create significant opportunities for strategic investors.

Notably, the National Assembly has passed pilot mechanisms for Da Nang’s development. This provides an important legal framework with preferential policies to attract strategic investors in high-tech, semiconductor, artificial intelligence, and green technology sectors which Chemnitz has strong expertise.

The city leader affirmed its commitment to further improving the investment climate, upgrading infrastructure, and refining policies to facilitate businesses and investors from Chemnitz in particular and Germany in general to explore and implement long-term cooperation and investment projects in Da Nang.

The municipal government pledged to accompany businesses, address challenges, and regard the success of Chemnitz-based organizations and enterprises as its own success.
