Organized by the ASEAN - South Korea Centre and held at the KINTEX Exhibition Center in Seoul, South Korea, the ASEAN Trade Fair 2025 is one of South Korea’s major annual international trade events.
The event aims to strengthen economic ties and expand commercial cooperation between ASEAN member states and the South Korean market.
This year’s edition gathered hundreds of companies from across the region, offering opportunities to showcase products, seek business partners and tap into the supply chains of South Korean distribution systems.
The fair also serves as a platform to connect ASEAN firms and promote their products to consumers in South Korea and Northeast Asia as a whole.
During the fair, the Da Nang delegation participates in a series of trade promotion activities, including B2B meetings and direct engagement with South Korean importers, distributors and supermarket chains.
These sessions help Da Nang businesses better understand consumer preferences, market demand and potential cooperation opportunities in the food processing sector.
The delegation consists of nine representative enterprises from Da Nang specialising in processed foods and beverages.
They have brought a range of the city’s signature products, including processed seafood, cinnamon powder, roasted coconut biscuits, sesame dry cakes, coffee, dried pomelo and instant noodles.
The Da Nang group has also visited a packaging design exhibition at COEX where environmentally friendly and internationally aligned packaging trends were showcased.
The visit aimed to support Vietnamese exporters in upgrading product packaging to meet the standards of high-end markets.

After three days of business networking and trade activities, Da Nang enterprises have signed four memorandums of understanding with South Korean partners.
The agreements focused on exporting key items such as cinnamon powder, coffee, dried pomelo and dried seafood.
They also included plans to expand sales channels by introducing Da Nang products on South Korean e-commerce platforms, creating greater market access and boosting export value for the city’s manufacturers.
The ASEAN Trade Fair, organized annually since 2014, attracts over 70 ASEAN F&B businesses this year, continuing to serve as a foundation for promoting economic cooperation and enhancing the presence of ASEAN products in the South Korean market.
