Building a new “image ambassador” for tourism

In late September, over 30 content creators from India and the Middle East joined a four-day trip to explore Da Nang’s highlights, including SunWorld Ba Na Hills, VinWonders Nam Hoi An, and Vinpearl Nam Hoi An Golf Resort organised by Klook. Sharing their experiences on social media, they helped spotlight the city’s culture, cuisine, and vibrant energy.

Shivam Tyagi, Klook’s Marketing Director for India and the Middle East, said the initiative marked a strategic step in creative tourism promotion, helping position Vietnam as one of Asia’s most inspiring destinations.

Acknowledging the rising influence of digital creators, the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Centre is engaging KOLs, KOCs, and influencers as new “image ambassadors” to build a youthful, globally connected brand.

Da Nang has signed long-term agreements with travel platforms including Klook, Trip.com, TikTok, and KKDAY to run co-branding campaigns, link promotions with major events like the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival and “Enjoy Da Nang”, and highlight new products in eco, cultural, culinary, and wellness tourism.

Extensive promotion efforts

From October 15 - 17, the city was presenting its tourism booth at ITB Asia 2025 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

Under the theme “New Da Nang - New Experiences”, the city’s booth at ITB Asia 2025 showcases new products and destinations, including heritage sites such as Hoi An, My Son Sanctuary, and Marble Mountains, along with key offerings in MICE, luxury resorts, golf, and eco-tourism.

Da Nang is also promoting incentive programmes to attract MICE and wedding travellers and introducing a line-up of cultural, sports, and tourism events for late 2025 and 2026. The Da Nang International Tourism Fair 2025, co-organised with HORECFEX VIETNAM, gathered over 300 domestic and international travel businesses, creating new cooperation opportunities and boosting destination promotion.
