DNO - The Da Nang Department of Science and Technology has issued new guidance to implement policies supporting businesses in technology innovation and establishing science and technology (S&T) enterprises.
The support programme focuses on two key areas: research and technology transfer and standards, metrology and quality management activities.
Enterprises are eligible for a range of financial incentives. The city will cover up to 30% of the cost of purchasing high-tech equipment, and up to 70% if the purchase includes a technology transfer agreement.
In addition, organisations, enterprises, and cooperatives can receive VND 30 million (approx. US$ 1,180) to build, assess and certify management systems that comply with recognised standards.
The Department is also accepting applications for the official Science and Technology Enterprise Certificate. Certified enterprises will enjoy various incentives, including corporate income tax reductions and exemptions or reductions in land and water surface rental fees.
