DNO - The Da Nang People's Committee has just approved the Ha Long Sun Co., Ltd. as the investor of an inland waterway tourism construction and business investment project totaling over VND 9.881 trillion.
The project will be carried out in two phases and divided into three component projects.
Specifically, the first phase, which will be implemented between 2025 and 2030, will include a component project.
It will concentrate on building 8 inland waterway wharves, and auxiliary works such as approach roads, parking lots, waiting houses and ticket inspection houses, stretching from Thuan Phuoc Bridge to Tien Son Bridge.
At the same time, the phase will include the construction of landscape parks, the purchasing of tourist boats, and the introduction of lighting effects and art shows.
Meanwhile, the second phase, expected to be from 2028 - 2031, will include component projects 2 and 3.
In particular, the component project No. 2 will feature the building of 8 inland waterway wharves along Vinh Dien and Co Co rivers, auxiliary works serving the operations of these wharves, and landscape parks, plus the procurement of boats for waterway tourism activities.
Under the component project No. 3, four inland waterway wharves and auxiliary works will be constructed along Cam Le River.
