Da Nang and Swiss - Viet Economic Forum ink cooperation deal

DNO - In the late afternoon of November 4, the Da Nang City People’s Committee signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation with the Swiss - Viet Economic Forum (SVEF).

The Swiss - Viet Economic Forum connects leaders from both nations to advance cooperation in trade, investment, innovation, and education for sustainable growth.

Under the MoU, the two sides will collaborate in key areas prioritised by Da Nang, including attracting investment in free trade and financial centres, developing industrial and logistics hubs, and promoting innovation, start-ups, and tourism.

Vice Chairman Ho Quang Buu affirmed that the agreement represents a concrete step toward strengthening ties and fostering long-term development between Da Nang and SVEF.

At the press conference, Vice Chairman Ho Quang Buu highlighted that this was the first time the Swiss - Viet Economic Forum had taken place in Da Nang, offering Swiss investors and businesses a chance to connect with city leaders and local enterprises.
