(QNO) – On June 8, 2025, the clean-up campaign was held for the 7th time at Tam Thanh beach (Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province) as part of the activities supporting the Tam Ky Sea Festival 2025.
As the sun rose, members of the Quang Nam Green Club and Tam Thanh Youth Union eagerly gathered at Tam Thanh beach.
Mr. Pham Le Huy, campaign coordinator, shared: "After over two weeks of preparation and strong support from local authorities, we’re ready for a meaningful clean-up day at our hometown beach. Everyone is excited and looking forward to it.”
The campaign attracted nearly 20 local youth union members and volunteers. This meaningful beach clean-up aims to protect the marine environment, promote Tam Thanh coastal tourism, and welcome visitors during the Tam Ky Sea Festival 2025.
In response to World Environment Day (June 5) and World Oceans Day (June 8), the 7th Clean-up Vietnam Campaign was launched by the Vietnam Green Community under the direction of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
This nationwide campaign, in collaboration with the National Volunteer Center, Quang Nam Green Club, and Tam Thanh Youth Union, gathers nearly 200,000 volunteers across all 63 provinces.
