Cam Nam Sticky Corn Festival - Hoi An 2026 to take place on March 21 and 22

The festival will open on the morning of March 21 with a ceremony to worship the God of Agriculture at the temple dedicated to the God of Agriculture. This is a traditional ritual expressing gratitude to the guardian of crops and praying for favorable weather and bountiful harvests.

As part of the event, visitors can explore a vibrant culinary space featuring a variety of dishes made from Cam Nam sticky corn and other local specialties. There will also be demonstrations of traditional crafts, as well as exhibitions and introductions of OCOP (One Commune One Product) items.

In addition, many folk games and experiential activities will be organized for locals and tourists. Notably, at the corn garden area, visitors can join immersive experiences centered around corn cultivation, a crop that has long been integral to the livelihoods of Cam Nam residents.

The opening ceremony is scheduled for the afternoon of March 21, followed by an art performance program in the evening to celebrate the festival.

The Cam Nam Sticky Corn Festival is an annual cultural and tourism event that contributes to preserving the traditional corn farming, while creating an experiential tourism product associated with the agricultural life of residents on the outskirts of Hoi An.

The festival also offers an opportunity for both locals and visitors to discover indigenous cultural values and savor distinctive dishes made from Cam Nam’s renowned sticky corn variety.
