(QNO) - On the afternoon of April 27, the artist couple Ho Son and Pham Khoa inaugurated the art exhibition themed "Nature and humanity of Hoi An" at 106 Bach Dang, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province.
"Nature and humanity of Hoi An" is presented through the intimate lens of the artist couple, offering a unique and heartfelt interpretation of Hoi An and, more broadly, Quang Nam. The exhibition evokes a tranquil, vibrant, and rustic ecological landscape, rich in emotional depth and local character.
The majority of the works are crafted with environmentally friendly materials, employing delicate watercolor techniques on water coconut paper, traditional lacquer painting on Ma Chau silk, woodblock carving, and other time-honored methods.
With 20 artworks displayed at the exhibition, these pieces represent the deep, sincere, and heartfelt emotions the artist couple holds for Hoi An - the land they have chosen to settle in and create.
This exhibition can also be seen as a new wave of creative expression, continuing the legacy of traditional Vietnamese techniques and artistry.
The exhibition is open until May 5, 2025.
