DNO - As part of the Enjoy Danang Festival 2026, the 2026 Barefoot Beach Run will take place from 4:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. on July 26 at Ariyana Beach Garden, 107 Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Ngu Hanh Son Ward.
Under the theme "Promoting Health - Connecting the Community - Spreading the Image of a Liveable Coastal City", the event is expected to attract around 2,000 runners, including local residents and domestic and international visitors.
Open to participants of all ages, the run offers families, groups of friends, and running enthusiasts an opportunity to enjoy a sporting experience on the beach.
Runners will compete in a 4km out-and-back race, starting from the beach in front of the Ariyana Danang International Convention Palace, running along the coast towards the area opposite the Muong Thanh Luxury Da Nang Hotel, before returning to the starting point.
The event is directed by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Da Nang Tourism Association. It is jointly organised by the Da Nang Tourism Association, the Da Nang Hotel Chapter, the Da Nang Events Destination Chapter, and the Ariyana Danang International Convention Palace.
The 2026 Barefoot Beach Run aims to encourage healthy lifestyles, strengthen community connections, and promote the image of Da Nang as a dynamic, friendly, and liveable city.
